Mosman Kitchen

Given a brief to update the kitchen and open the space up to maximise harbour views, my design focus was to integrate the kitchen and dining areas to create a relaxed and informal entertaining area.

This project saw the original kitchen removed and updated with custom joinery, Spotted Gum flooring, Granite benchtops and a bevelled subway tile splashback. A bespoke breakfast bar was made from recycled timber which sits on casters, so it is both movable and versatile.

The open plan kitchen now extends to a sunroom where a daybed sits under an exposed brick wall decorated with custom Cloth Fabric cushions. Distressed, natural and textural elements contrast hard lines and clean white surfaces.
